Boise Valley Adventist School 

Hello! My name is Courteney Mace and I’m overjoyed to begin my 2nd year working as the PreK/Kindergarten teacher again this year. 

 

I have previously attended Caldwell Adventist Elementary, Gem State Adventist Academy and Walla Walla University. I have my degree from Boise State University in elementary education and I am STEM certified with an endorsement in Literacy. I am currently getting my masters from Walla Walla University in leadership.

 

I want to instruct my students through music, nature, hands-on activities and God’s love.. I will be including each of my student's individual learning styles and interests into our school day for maximum love for growing our minds and bodies together. I hope to be a mentor for each young person who enters my classroom by showing Christ’s love through my actions and words. 

 

When I am not at work, you can find me outside with a good book or playing sports. On average, I read about 2-4 books a month and I can’t wait to share my love of reading with my students! I also love working out, tending to my garden, cooking, hanging with family and friends and playing golf!
